PUMPS THAT REQUIRE A NOMINAL FEE:
Your insurance considers other pumps “Upgrades” as your insurance pays us less than what the maker of the pumps require us to sell them for. You may have been told that any pump you want is covered at 100%. However, we sadly have to be the bearer of bad news to let you know that your insurance does NOT cover the “Full Cost” of any pump you desire, but rather the “Full Amount” of the contracted rate that your insurance pays. That is why, unfortunately, there is an upgrade amount to be paid. Upgraded pumps have a specific dollar amount listed as you add it to the cart (that you would need to pay upfront if you desire one of those pumps) - THIS FEE THAT YOU PAY IS EXCLUDED FROM COVERAGE FROM YOUR INSURANCE and you will not be able to be reimbursed for the upgrade amount paid to AME.
